Bringing a career of experience in major and strategic planning applications to any project, Adam’s extensive knowledge of all aspects of the planning system has earned him a reputation for integrity and an unrivalled ability to successfully deliver on successful urban schemes. Adam’s drive ensures that Urbana is never standing still, and he is committed to growth ensuring that Urbana is always the most relevant planning consultancy around.
Charles Dunn MPlan MRTPI,
As an associate at Urbana, Charles leads major projects for clients through the planning process from conception to the delivery of planning permission and beyond.
Since joining the consultancy Charles has expanded his experience and skillset dramatically and in his role holds responsibility for the project management of proposals through the planning process, including the coordination of all other consultants and members of project teams.
Charles is also experienced in strategic land promotion and advocating on behalf of clients through Local Plan consultation processes and at Examinations in Public.
Chloe Parmenter BSc (Hons) MSc,
Chloe is a Senior Planner with an enthusiasm for place-shaping and the narrative of places. Chloe has experience leading on major projects on behalf of a range of clients and is passionate about meaningful community and stakeholder consultation.
She is a highly capable project manager with experience working within sensitive settings and with extensive consultant teams, to bring projects to fruition and balance the potential impacts of development.
Mark Boyd MPlan,
Mark leads on a number of residential projects, gaining experience in the varying interpretations of planning policy across multifarious local authorities.
Mark’s work at Urbana is complemented by his active involvement in the Academy of Urbanism as a Young Urbanist, regularly attending and participating in events across Europe. The mission of the Academy is to seek and promote a better quality of urbanism, and is rapidly expanding to become a global forum of knowledge-sharing on all matters critical to sustainable placemaking.
Tom Breislin BA (Hons) MA,
Having graduated with an MA in Urban Design & Planning from the University of Sheffield, Tom joins the team as a Planner and arrives with the added experience of a professional background in Brexit contingency planning at the Welsh Government.
As a committed and hugely passionate urbanist, he is able the employ the latest urban theories explored during his Master’s degree to deliver innovative development solutions, and is dedicated to enhancing the urban realm through a deep engagement with projects and clients.
Owen joined Urbana in July 2019 as an Assistant Planner and supports the team on a wide range of projects. Using his ever growing knowledge of the planning system he provides assistance through detailed policy research, site analysis and report writing on smaller to medium-scale projects whilst also working on larger projects as part of the wider team.
Kit joined Urbana in September 2020 on a year-long work placement as part of his BA Human Geography studies at Sheffield Hallam University. Day-to-day he will be working closely with Charles on SHU’s projects which are both key to the future of the city and university. He will also be assisting other members of the team through research, applications, and reports.
