Taking this area of former railway cuttings, Urbana were able to deliver over 100 dwellings whilst overcoming the site’s designation as a Local Nature Site, Regionally Important Geological Site and Open Space. This was achieved through close cooperation and discussions with the LPA and represents a carefully negotiated compromise between restrictive planning policy and a clear demonstration of the need to deliver development in sustainable locations. Urbana have now negotiated a position of sale for our client with a national housebuilder looking to build out the scheme.
